Mountain biking

Mountain biking exists in Toledo! Who knew, right? Ottawa and Jermain Parks have 6.5 miles of varied terrain from pure flatness to some tricky switchback climbs and offcamber shelf sections. And to add even more interest, two fun bridge underpasses!
This trail is subject to weather conditions that zip through the Toledo area and quite often suffer downed trees and / or flooding.     I just got this in an Email from the Metroparks:

    "Single Track Trail Meeting
    The public is invited to an open house Wednesday, August 3 to learn about the design for a single track (mountain bike) trail at Oak Openings Preserve. The open house will be from 6 to 7:30 PM in the Secor Room at Secor Metropark."
